When you are looking for staff you can employ them in a variety of ways – Permanent or Fixed Term Contract employment or on a Temporary basis. I can advise and help you with all of these.

Whichever way you choose, my goal is to find you the right candidate that not only matches your skill set but also has the right attitude and personality fit for your business.

Permanent Recruitment

This means the candidate you employ would be on a permanent contract of employment. This can also include fixed term contracts. For permanent positions, you, the client, would be eligible for full employee benefits, this can vary for fixed-term contracts. The candidate would be on an annual salary determined by you and on a PAYE basis.

For this type of recruitment you would pay a one off fee (please speak to me to discuss as there are various options you can choose) depending on free replacements or money back guarantees.

 

Temporary Recruitment

This means the member of staff (temp) would be supplied by Karen Leggett Recruitment Limited on a flexible basis. Typically, these assignments can be for any length of time when there is, for example, a specific project, increases in workload, illness cover or maternity/paternity cover. The candidate would be on a contract of services with Karen Leggett Recruitment Limited and on an agreed hourly or daily rate, which will cover their hourly rate, NI, holiday pay and opt in pension contributions. They would complete a timesheet each week, authorised by you, for the number of hours worked so I know exactly how much to pay them. The temp would be paid by Karen Leggett Recruitment Limited and you would receive a weekly invoice. They would not appear on your payroll.

Agency Worker Regulations (AWR) came into effect in 2011 which gives temporary workers eligibility to qualify for equal treatment after 12 weeks in exactly the same job with the same client, which, in broad terms, gives entitlement to the same basic terms and conditions of “comparable” work in the same workplace. Additionally, they are entitled to auto-enrolment of my pension plan which is operated by NEST.
