I joined a well-known High Street Bank at age 18 but after 15 years I decided it was time for a change. Being a people person I decided that Recruitment was an area I could do well in, so in 1996 I started as a Trainee in a London based Recruitment Agency where I stayed for 24 years working my way up to Director Level. Then in 2019 I decided to take the plunge and start my own Agency snappily called KAREN LEGGETT RECRUITMENT LIMITED.

I have placed over 2500 people in permanent work and 100’s of temporaries in various assignments in Herts, Beds and Bucks, London & further afield. From Tea ladies to CEO’s and lots in between.

I specialise in Office based recruitment across all levels from junior to senior level. Dealing with roles in Administration, Secretarial, PA & Office Managers, Customer Service, Accounts, Marketing, Sales, Legal, and Property & Facilities.

My portfolio of client’s ranges from small start up’s to large corporates. I am available at any time to discuss any requirements either face to face or on the telephone. A lot of my clients think of me as their Recruitment Department!

Whilst I don’t specialise in industrial recruitment – I have supported existing clients with warehouse or driving roles at all levels so please don’t dismiss me if you need this type of recruitment.

Not all clients want to hire permanent staff so I can also provide quality, assessed and reliable temporary staff across all the sectors I specialise in.

In Depth Interviews

Many recruitment firms simply “have a chat” with applicants before submitting, some even don’t bother to do that! I will always meet and interview my candidate either face to face, on the telephone/Skype to make sure I feel they are going to be right for your business. I discuss their requirements, find out their skills and get an idea of their personality so I have a really good understanding of what they are looking for in their career.

I am able to access their IT skills and can offer basic psychometric assessments if required. It goes without saying I will confirm their eligibility to work legally in the UK. Where possible I will take references.

Temps

Not all clients want to hire permanent staff – this could be for various reasons – so I can also provide exceptional temporary staff who have been through the same interview process as permanent staff. Some of my temporary staff have been working for me for a number of years and they enjoy the flexibility that it gives them.

Candidates

Changing jobs is one of the most important and stressful things you’ll ever do. You spend more time at work than you do at home. I really DO understand this and I am committed to helping YOU make the right decision.

Fees

I believe that the “one size fits all FEE” approach is wrong.

So I have a FEE SELECTOR which allows you, the client, to decide the fee to suit your individual circumstances.
This gives you the option to add free replacements and/or money back to make you feel more secure in using KAREN LEGGETT RECRUITMENT LIMITED to hire staff.

For TEMPORARY​ staff I offer a 3 day no quibble guarantee, so if you don’t think my temp is right or they haven’t worked the way you expected you won’t pay me a penny!
